4 departments fight Ronkonkoma fire

A fire was reported early Saturday in a residential section of Ronkonkoma.
Emergency response officials said they got a call at 6:25 a.m. about a fire on Peconic Street in the Lakeland neighborhood. It was not clear whether the home was occupied; no injuries have been reported.
Fire officials said companies from the Lakeland, Hauppauge, Central Islip and Nesconset fire departments responded to the fire.
