4 fire departments battle Orient home fire

More than four fire departments battled a home fire that started early Monday afternoon on Major Pond Road in Orient.
The residents got out safely, according to the Orient Fire Department.
Cleanup was still under way shortly before 8 p.m., authorities said.
Suffolk police arson squad and Southold Town police are investigating.
