Four people were injured, none seriously, when a Jeep overturned Thursday night on Montauk Highway in Shirley, striking a utility police.

Fire officials said the four, none of whom were identified, were taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center. A spokesman for Mastic Volunteer Ambulance said all four had "non-life-threatening" injuries.

The cause of the crash, happened at about 10:15 p.m., was not known.

Police said the road was briefly closed at Garden Place. The investigation is continuing.
