A driver was killed early Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015, when his car slid off a rain-slicked Granny Road in Medford, and crashed into a utility pole, Suffolk County police said. Credit: Stringer News Service

A 31-year-old man was killed early Wednesday when his car slid off a rain-slicked road in Medford, crashing into a utility pole, Suffolk County police said.

Police said Alan Bradley, of Medford, was alone in the car when he lost control of the 2002 Hyundai Elantra and crashed along Granny Road at 3:03 a.m. He died at the scene.

Police said the crash occurred near Mill Road. Volunteers from the Medford Fire Department also responded to the scene.

The crash investigation is continuing Wednesday.
