A Huntington Station woman injured in a Nov. 22 crash in Melville died of her injuries on Thursday, Suffolk County police said.

Alanna McCarthy, 18, died Dec. 10 after being critically injured in the early morning crash.

Police said McCarthy was driving a 2015 Toyota RAV4 northbound on Sweet Hollow Road in Melville about 1:20 a.m. when she lost control of the vehicle. The car struck a guard rail and overturned.

McCarthy was taken to Nassau County Medical Center for her injuries, while the three passengers she was driving were taken to Huntington Hospital with minor injuries.
