Village hiring tax clerk, summer workers

Amityville Village is hiring summer workers and a full-time tax clerk.

The tax clerk position is full time, with a salary range of $32,000 to $36,000.

The summer jobs are with the Department of Public Works and at the Village Beach. Applications will be accepted through March 15.

Applicants must be at least 14 and available for the entire beach season, June 25 to September 5. The positions include summer beach manager, lifeguard, sailing and swimming instructor, chase boat operator and attendant. Some jobs have higher age requirements, and chase boat operators and sailing instructors must provide their own vessels.
