Amityville Village’s Bay Village Civic Association will hold its annual cleanup at Woods Preserve at Ketchum Creek May 21.

Volunteers and Amityville Memorial High School students will meet on the east side of the high school at 9:45 a.m. Volunteers can also park at the Suffolk County National Bank at 400 Merrick Rd. and walk to the preserve, which is north of Merrick Road.

Cleanup -- mainly of plastic bags and other debris blown into the trees -- will last about an hour, Civic Association president Joan Donnison said. Afterward, volunteers and students will do light gardening at the high school before breaking for pizza.
