Suffolk County police have found an autistic Lindenhurst man with schizophrenia who had been missing since Thursday morning.
Suffolk police located Anthony Ancona, 33, at an area hospital Saturday.
Police had earlier issued a Silver Alert for Ancona who was last seen leaving his home on South Ninth Street in Lindenhurst at about 9:30 a.m. Aug. 13. Police said Ancona left on foot heading in the direction of Hoffman Avenue.
