Anthony Fucci, 17-year-old Central Islip driver, killed in car crash, police say

A Central Islip teenager was killed in a motor vehicle crash Monday evening, Suffolk County Police said.
Anthony Fucci, 17, was driving a 1999 Honda Civic north on Lowell Avenue in Central Islip about 6:55 p.m., when he lost control and struck a southbound 2008 Toyota Sequoia near Satinwood Street, Suffolk police said.
Fucci was ejected from the Honda. He was taken by the Central Islip-Hauppauge Volunteer Ambulance to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead.
The Toyota's driver, Vladimir Moreno, 33, of Central Islip, and his sons, ages 4 and 9, also were taken to Southside Hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries.
