A raid Tuesday on a suspected North Sea crack house resulted in drug charges against four men, including two of whom are on parole, Southampton Town police said.

After an investigation lasting several months, police said they obtained a search warrant for 599 Noyac Rd. When the department's street crime unit searched the home about 3:50 a.m., they found crack cocaine, marijuana, prescription pills, a drug scale and packaging material, according to a news release.

The news release said four residents of the house also were arrested:

Kwame A. Opoku, 29, who is charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Bernard T. Cooks, 29, who is charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor count of criminally using drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Nathaniel L. Cooper, 31, who is charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Karron D. Whidbee, 30, who is charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Opoku and Cooks are in violation of provisions of parole, police said.

All four were scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday at Southampton Town Justice Court.
