A driver from Coram exposed himself to a teenager as she walked on a Selden street Friday, Suffolk police said.

Arshad Syed Humzah, 21, was in his Nissan about 5 p.m. when he asked the 15-year-old girl, who was walking on Boyle Road by Strauss Avenue, if she needed a ride, police said.

After the girl declined, Humzah continued to follow her in his car, police said. He stopped her again to ask her for directions, then exposed himself when she approached, police said.

Humzah was arrested a short time later, after the girl took down his license plate, went home and told her parents about the incident, police said.

He was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
