Firefighters hose down a fire in East Farmingdale that, according to Suffolk police, damaged two work vans and two box trucks outside an industrial building on Central Avenue on Monday, Nov. 17, 2014. Credit: Paul Mazza

Arson investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire early Monday that damaged four vehicles outside an industrial building in East Farmingdale.

Suffolk County police said the incident on Central Avenue was reported in a 911 at 4:11 a.m. The caller reported only "vehicles on fire" at the site.

Police said two work vans and two box trucks were damaged in the fire. Volunteers from the East Farmingdale Fire Department responded to the scene. There were no injuries.

Police said Arson Squad detectives were investigating.
