A Babylon man was shot twice outside a house party in West Babylon early Sunday, Suffolk County police said.

Police said Joseph Wyer was at a party at 18 Pitcher St at 12:10 a.m. when a fight broke out in the street.

During the disturbance, Wyer was wounded in the leg and foot, police said.

Wyer was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, in West Islip, for treatment. He was listed in stable condition, police said.

Police are continuing to investigate, and ask that anyone with information about the shooting call the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
