Festivals, race to close Babylon Village streets

Fall festivals and a road race will close Babylon Village streets this Saturday. The Chamber of Commerce Fall Harvest Festival Street Fair and the Apples and Arts Festival at the Conklin House will close South Carll Avenue from 9 a.m. to noon. Deer Park Avenue will be closed from Railroad Avenue South to Route 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Post Office 1K and 5K Race, which draws hundreds of runners and walkers, will close portions of North Carll Avenue, Cedar Lane, Fire Island Avenue, Reid Avenue and other streets Saturday morning.
