Bacteria levels close Centerport beach
The Huntington Beach Community Association beach in Centerport was closed to bathers Friday by the Suffolk County Health Department after findings of unacceptably high levels of bacteria, officials said.
No information was immediately available as to when the beach might be reopened to bathers.
