Police are searching for two armed men who robbed a jewelry store in Brentwood in September -- and have released photos of the suspects.

The robbery took place on Sept. 21 at Ballerz Jewels, on Suffolk Avenue, at about 10:15 a.m., Suffolk County police said. Police said two men, armed with guns, entered the store -- and stole cash, jewelry, iPads and iPhones. They then fled, possibly in a white sedan.

One suspect is believed to be about 6 feet tall. He wore a brown hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and gray Nike Air Max sneakers with red laces.

Police said the other man wore a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored pants, dark-colored sneakers with white soles and a New Era baseball cap, sticker on the brim.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential and callers are eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
