A Bay Shore man has died of injuries suffered in a Sunday motorcycle crash in the hamlet, Suffolk police said Tuesday.

Victor Nigro, 65, was riding a 2021 KTM motorcycle at 2:42 p.m in the parking lot of Gardiner Manor Elementary School on Wohseepee Drive when he lost control of the bike, according to police.

Nigro was taken to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of what police described Sunday as serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
