A man remained in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Bay Shore on Thursday, Suffolk County police said Friday.

Jorge Claros-Moisa, 80, of Brentwood, was hit on Union Boulevard, between First and Second avenues, by a 2016 Mazda sport utility vehicle going west about 9:35 p.m., police said.

Claros-Moisa was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, police said. Driver Robert Whitney, 69, of Islip, stayed at the scene and was not injured, police said.

Third Precinct detectives ask anyone with information to contact them at 631-854-8352.
