Bellone, Carpenter to debate Wednesday

The candidates for Suffolk County executive, Democrat Steve Bellone and Republican Angie Carpenter, will square off Wednesday night in a live televised debate on News 12 Long Island.
The debate between Bellone, Babylon Town supervisor, and Carpenter, Suffolk County treasurer, will be aired from 7 to 8 p.m.
The debate is part of News 12's Island Vote 2011 coverage of more than 150 races and 45 local debates in Nassau and Suffolk. Debates in races for county legislature, town supervisor and Glen Cove mayor air on Saturdays and Sundays. They also are available on News 12 Interactive (Channel 612 on iO TV) and news12.com.
