A Bellport man died Friday night after he lost control of his motorcycle in Mastic, Suffolk County police said.

Police said Rajan Fenner, 36, was traveling south on Titmus Avenue on a 2002 Suzuki motorcycle and lost control of it just north of Montauk Highway about 6 p.m. The motorcycle struck a 1984 Chevy Monte Carlo that was stopped in traffic at the intersection.

Fenner was pronounced dead at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue.

The Monte Carlo’s driver was not injured and stayed at the scene.

Police said both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
