Beneath his signature cloud of curly hair, DJ Fulano, 8, talked about the tracks he'd spun to entertain about 850 guests Saturday at a family fair hosted by the Children's Museum of the East End in Bridgehampton.

"I played a lot of classics -- Rick James, Diana Ross," he said.

Fulano Librizzi, known as DJ Fulano, and a Gap Kids model, was one of several familiar figures at the fair, which raised more than $150,000 on behalf of the museum.

"The Children's Museum actually serves a diverse population all year-round," said Amy Tarr, president of the museum board. "On a day like today, with high-end tickets, you might not pick up on that but we're not just a playground for the children of the rich and famous."

The museum attracts more than 50,000 people annually, she said, and offers a retreat for victims of domestic violence.

Opened in 2005, the museum was proposed by Lucy Kazickas, owner of Lucy's Whey cheese shop in East Hampton, and other local mothers.

Saturday was the fourth annual kid-friendly benefit. It's the museum's biggest benefit of the year and raised about $200,000 last year.

While children played on water slides and built tiny houses, honorary museum chairs George Stephanopoulos and Ali Wentworth, his wife, chatted with staff.

DJ Cassidy, or Cassidy Podell, who's spun for President Barack Obama and Jay-Z and Beyoncé and began mentoring DJ Fulano when the boy tweeted him last year, discussed riding home with DJ Fulano's mother.

Jonny Podell, DJ Cassidy's rock-agent father and the honorary grandfather of DJ Fulano, approached Tarr and said, "Why can't you do this every week?"
