Lisa M. Wieber-Santeramo of Stony Brook, who was an aide and campaign manager for Rep. Tim Bishop (D-Southampton) in two bitter election fights against Republican Randy Altschuler, will join the Bellone administration next month.

She'll fill the $109,850-a-year deputy county executive post left by Ben Zwirn and will work initially with the Federal Emergency Management Agency on issues related to superstorm Sandy. She's married to Michael Santeramo, a top aide to Nassau Democratic chairman Jay Jacobs. Sources say Bishop reached out to Brian Beedenbender to succeed her, but the former Suffolk lawmaker is weighing private-sector offers.-- Rick Brand
