A Flanders woman was killed in a car crash in Eastport Sunday, Suffolk County police said.

Blanca Coslaya, 41, was the passenger in a car headed south on Country Road 51 at about 3 p.m. when another car heading north turned left, in front of Coslaya’s car, at County Road 111 and the vehicles collided, police said.

Coslaya was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Coslaya was in a 1990 Toyota Camry that was driven by Rudi Ramirez, 22, of Flanders. The other vehicle was a 2015 Hyundai Tucson, driven by Madeline Keane, 51, of Farmingville.

Ramirez, Keane and Keane’s two passengers were taken to the same hospital, where they were treated for injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.

Police are continuing to investigate, and a police spokeswoman said there is nothing criminal about the accident.
