Minor injuries after boat crashes into dock in Amityville, officials say

A boat crashed into a dock at James Caples Memorial Park in Amityville on Saturday night, the Suffolk County Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services said.
The Amityville Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call at 10:22 p.m., according to the county fire and rescue service.
There were minor injuries, the Amityville Police Department said without providing details or elaborating on the investigation.
The Amityville fire department did not respond to messages seeking comment on Sunday.
