Boats among Suffolk police auction items
Suffolk County police will hold a property auction on June 22 at police headquarters in Yaphank, the department said Friday.
Items to be auctioned include hand and power tools, small household appliances, electronic equipment, bicycles, clothing and designer handbags, police said. Two rowboats and an inboard/outboard boat also are listed.
The auction begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Property Section building, next to police headquarters at 30 Yaphank Ave.
The event will be held rain or shine and all items will be sold as is, police said.
A preview period for the items is June 21 at the site between 10 a.m. and noon.
