Brookhaven officials may set four separate public hearings to demolish homes across the town at a town board meeting tomorrow.
Officials said engineers have already inspected the unsafe homes.
The four structures are in Centereach, East Moriches, Brookhaven hamlet and Ridge.
Eventually, if the town decides to remove the homes, they will be torn down in accordance with Chapter 73 of the Town Code, which provides a “fast track” to rid neighborhoods of unsafe structures.
Last year, the town knocked down 52 homes.
The meeting is at 5 p.m. at Town Hall, 1 Independence Hill, Farmingville.
