Brookhaven to close rec centers on Saturday for snowstorm
Brookhaven Town plans to close its recreations centers on Saturday because of an expected winter storm.
The facilities, including the town Aquatic Center in Mastic, will remain closed until further notice, town officials said in a news release.
Town residents can call 631-451-8696 to report snow-related problems. Power outages and downed wires should be reported to PSEG Long Island at 800-490-0075.
The town plans to post storm updates on its website, brookhaven.org. The website includes weather updates and emergency contact numbers.
