Brookhaven Town Board to decide on Carmans River plan tonight

Starting at 5 p.m., reporter Patrick Whittle will post real-time updates as Brookhaven Town Supervisor Mark Lesko makes a last-ditch attempt to get his town board to approve a plan to preserve the Carmans River tonight. The plan, which must be accepted today to have a chance of being adopted, would transfer new building away from the river's sensitive watershed.
