Caller: Kids started Bay Shore fire
A fire at a house in Bay Shore was put out Wednesday morning after a 911 call that said kids had set the blaze, Suffolk police said.
Arson investigators were on the scene of the fire on Burchell Boulevard Wednesday morning.
Suffolk County police said the 911 call was placed at 5:13 a.m. from a nearby 7-Eleven.
The caller said kids had set the fire and then fled.
Officials said the fire was easily contained and the house was "all clear." No injuries were reported, police said.
It was not immediately clear if the home had been occupied at the time of the fire.
