Car fire briefly closes southbound Sagtikos

A car fire briefly closed the southbound Sagtikos Parkway Monday, state police and county fire officials said.
Volunteers from the Brentwood Fire Department responded to the scene, southbound between Exit S3, Pine Aire Drive, and Exit S4, the Southern State Parkway, in West Brentwood.
State police said a minivan caught on fire at 8:20 a.m. No one was injured in the incident -- and the road was reopened at about 9 a.m., police said.
