Firefighters put out a vehicle fire on the shoulder of Horseblock Road in Medford early Friday, officials said.

The Medford Fire Department responded to the blaze at 1:03 a.m. near the intersection with Peconic Avenue, fire officials said.

There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire was under investigation, fire officials said.
