A 2003 Hyundai was headed north on Liberty Avenue in Port Jefferson near Old Post Road at about 12:40 a.m. Tuesday when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it flipped, Suffolk County police said.

The driver and three passengers were taken to Stony Brook University Medical Center where they were treated for injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening, police said.

No tickets were issued.

Police said no further details on the accident, or its cause, were available.
