Car hits, injures woman in Sag Harbor
A 36-year-old woman was struck and injured by a sport utility vehicle as she crossed a Sag Harbor street Tuesday night, police said.
Jhenny Arias, 36, of Sag Harbor, was taken by Suffolk County police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital after the accident, which occurred at about 7:30 p.m., police said.
A hospital spokeswoman said Wednesday afternoon that Arias is listed in critical condition.
Arias was crossing Brick Kiln Road at Main Street when a 2011 Jeep, driven by David Corigliano, 60, of East Hampton, hit her, the police said. He passed all field sobriety tests and was not charged, police said.
