Car hits pedestrian in Brentwood
A pedestrian was hit by a car as he crossed a road in Brentwood on Saturday night, Suffolk police said.
Police said the man was crossing west on Wicks Road near Leahy Avenue at about 11 p.m. when he was hit by a 2002 Toyota Camry heading south on Wicks Road.
The pedestrian was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Camry and his passenger were not injured.
Police did not immediately release the names of the three.
No criminal charges were filed.
