Police: Driver unhurt after car lands in Brightwaters lake
A driver who lost control on Montauk Highway late Thursday and took his car for a dip in a Brightwaters lake walked away uninjured, Suffolk County police said.
Police said early Friday the driver, a man, got out of the car on his own after they both entered Upper Cascade Lake off Lakeview Avenue West at about 11:42 a.m.
No charges are pending, police said.
