The manager of Angie Carpenter's campaign for Suffolk executive, Rick Belyea, is temporarily sidelined for health reasons. Rob Ryan, a veteran operative who advised Republican Randy Altschuler in his close run for Congress last year, is filling the breach. Belyea said Tuesday he was at Southside Hospital undergoing tests; the campaign gave no details. Ryan said the campaign hopes Belyea can return.-- Rick Brand
