Carting truck among 4 vehicles in Lindenhurst crash

Four vehicles were involved in a crash Friday afternoon on Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst which began when a Honda Accord stopped short at a traffic light and collided with a carting truck, Suffolk police said.

The 75-year-old woman driving the Accord, the operator of the truck, and the operator of an SUV were not injured in the crash, which happened about 2 p.m., police said. Only a passenger in a Mitsubishi Eclipse sustained a shoulder injury, police said.
