Jennifer T. Feuerman of Westhampton killed after being pinned by her car, Suffolk police say

A Westhampton woman was killed Saturday after being pinned under her car in Center Moriches, Suffolk County police said.

Police believe Jennifer T. Feuerman, 50, got out of her 2012 Mercedes on Bowditch Lane while it was still running and in gear and the car then backed over her, police said Sunday night in a news release.

Feuerman was found at 7:12 p.m. Saturday under the driver's side door, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Suffolk County medical examiner's office.

The investigation is ongoing. Detectives asked anyone with information to call 631-852-8752.
