Centereach commercial property damaged by fire, officials say

Arson detectives are investigating the cause of a Wednesday morning fire that damaged a shed and surrounding property at a business in Centereach, officials said.
The fire at the business on Horseblock Road near Blydenburgh Road was reported at 8:46 a.m., Suffolk County police said.
Fire officials said firefighters from the Centereach Fire Department responded to the scene, requesting mutual aid from the Farmingville Fire Department, which sent a brush truck.
There were no reported injuries. Additional information was not immediately available, officials said.
