Cops: Two-vehicle crash leaves one person critically hurt

One person is in critical condition after a two-vehicle crash on Nicolls Road in Centereach on Friday night, Suffolk County police said.
Police said multiple people were hurt in the crash at Hammond Road about 6:40 p.m., but only one person was critically injured.
Police could offer no further details.
