Centerport break-in investigated

Second Squad detectives are investigating the break-in of a Centerport home Friday morning, Suffolk County police said.

About 4 a.m., a woman sleeping in her house on Little Bull Court was awakened by a noise, police said. She told police she screamed when she saw a man in the house. The man fled without taking anything.

Police are advising residents in the area to lock doors and windows at night.
