Central Islip fight leaves 2 men cut, Suffolk police say
Two people were injured during a fight Saturday evening in Central Islip.
Suffolk County police said two groups of men were fighting at the corner of East Maple and Boulevard Avenue about 6:15 p.m.
Two men, ages 32 and 42, suffered cuts during the fight from an unknown weapon, police said.
The men were taken by a friend to the Central Islip firehouse, where firefighters called an ambulance to take them to an undisclosed hospital. Neither victim suffered life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made.
