Challenge filed to Democrat Adrienne Esposito's petitions

A backer of Democratic State Senate candidate Joseph Fritz has filed general objections to rival Adrienne Esposito's nominating petitions, the first step toward trying to disqualify her from the ballot. Rafaela Vazquez, fiancee of former Suffolk Legis. Rick Montano, mailed the challenge application late last week, and requested copies of Esposito's party authorization to run on the Democratic line though she's not a party member. Specific objections must be filed this week.
