One person was injured when a sailboat and speedboat collided Monday afternoon in Huntington Harbor, officials said.

A passenger in the speedboat suffered “facial injuries” after the vessel collided with a Catalina 400 sailboat about 1:50 p.m., according to Coast Guard Station Eatons Neck.

The injured person was later treated by EMS personnel, according to the Coast Guard.

The cause of the crash is being investigated, the Coast Guard said.
