A Yaphank man committed a string of burglaries in a four-month span, including some in the condominium complex where he lives, Suffolk County police said Wednesday.

Patrick Fontaine, 33, of 38 Rutledge Commons, is charged with four counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of second-degree attempted burglary and one count of petty larceny after his Tuesday arrest, police said.

Between August and December, Fontaine broke into residences in Colonial Woods and Whispering Pines, where he lives, taking cash and electronics, police said.

The Whispering Pines and Colonial Woods complexes are in Yaphank.

Fontaine is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Central Islip.
