Commack bar patrons, workers charged in sting

Police swooped in on a Commack bar just before midnight Thursday and arrested six people on charges that included drug possession and disorderly conduct. Officers from seven units and a Suffolk County District Attorney squad conducted a check for compliance with state liquor laws on Arizona Bar and Grill, at 6106 E. Rte. 25, according to a Suffolk County police news release.
Police charged Carla Donovan, 26, of East Northport, with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Torrey Smith, 34, of East Northport, and Princena Degraffe, 27 of Central Islip, were charged with marijuana possession.
Police charged two security guards -- Jose Mejia, 22, of Oceanside, and Jamarr Williams, 24 of Brentwood -- with not having security guard licenses.
Benito Delgado, 30, of Huntington Station, was charged with disorderly conduct.
Police cited the bar's manager, Scott Bejes, 28, of Kings Park, for two violations of state liquor laws and a sanitary code violation.
