A blaze Wednesday night heavily damaged a Commack building where pizza, wings, hot dogs and Italian ices are sold, officials said.

The fire started about 8:30 in the building on the 300 block of Commack Road. More than 75 volunteer firefighters from the Commack and Kings Park fire departments battled the blaze, bringing it under control in about 45 minutes, authorities said.

The building houses Lorenzo's Pizza, Toxic Wings, Nathan's and Ralph's Italian Ices, officials said.

Commack Road was closed for several hours. No one was injured.

Officials said the fire is being investigated by detectives from the Suffolk County Police Arson Squad and fire marshals from Huntington and Commack.
