The medical condition of a Deer Park teen who was among a trio struck by a Lindenhurst driver who was allegedly high on drugs was upgraded to good Tuesday.
Paulino Harrington had been airlifted to Stony Brook University Medical Center after the woman hit three 16-year-olds walking on Grand Boulevard Sunday night, police said. The hospital said Tuesday his condition had been upgraded to good, from serious.
A family member said in an email that doctors had put two casts on Harrington and were monitoring his condition.
Two of Harrington's companions were treated at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center for less serious injuries.
Monday, the driver, Catherine Wild, 28, was ordered held on $100,000 cash or bond after being charged with driving with a suspended license, driving while impaired by drugs and possession of a hypodermic needle.
