Copiague home damaged by fire, officials say

Fire ripped through an unoccupied house on Dante Avenue in Copiague early Thursday, fire officials said.
The fire was reported at 2:12 a.m. in the two-story house just off Prince Chico Street, officials said.
News 12 Long Island reported that the structure was vacant, and that one firefighter was hospitalized for evaluation after suffering a fall.
