Copiague man faces DWI charge in crash
A Copiague man was drunk early Tuesday when he hit two vehicles on Oak Street, Suffolk County police said.
Miguel Rivera, 33, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after his 2005 Volkswagen hit two other vehicles on eastbound Oak Street near Great Neck Road in Copiague at about 2:30 a.m., police said.
Two people were injured in the accident, police said; both were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip with undisclosed injuries.
Arraignment information on Rivera was not immediately available.
